Kara O’Loughlin

Dr. Kara qualified as an acupuncturist in Ireland in 2007 and completed clinical training in Nanjing, China. After moving to the US, she completed her Doctorate of Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz.
As an avid runner, Dr. Kara is passionate about keeping people free from limitations due to pain. She has over 15 years of clinical experience with sports medicine and orthopedics. Kara loves to help her patients return to the movement that brings them joy.
Dr. Kara is also registered midwife in Ireland and a Licensed midwife in California. Kara specializes in obstetrics, fertility, and reproductive health.

Dr. Kara has a superpower of catching all things, with lightening reflexes, from her years of experience catching babies. Another fun fact about Kara is that she taught Baby Goat Yoga classes for 2 years in Santa Cruz with her neighbors at Kinderwood Farms.
