Conditions Treated

The World Health Organization recognizes that acupuncture can be used to effectively treat over 200 common clinical disorders, including- sports injury, chronic pain, arthritis, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, indigestion, acid reflux, IBS, common cold cough and flu, PMS, irregular or painful menstruation, menopause, sexual dysfunction, UTI, asthma, allergies, migraines, hypertension, hormonal imbalances, addiction, and post-traumatic stress.

What to Expect at your Acupuncture Appointment?

When you have a treatment, your practitioner will spend some time doing an evaluation- either a musculoskeletal evaluation or a tongue and pulse evaluation. They may then do some manual therapies such as electrical stimulation, cupping, or gua sha. Then, you will relax on a treatment table while the needles are inserted. Once the needles are in, you will simply take a 30-minute rest with a warm treatment table and a pager. Your visit to the acupuncturist should be an enjoyable experience, with noticeable benefits.

I have loved coming to Solis. I see Jenny (Scotts Valley location) & 1000% recommend her for all women’s health, pregnancy & postpartum care. She is compassionate, knowledgeable & just a talented acupuncturist. She helped me through a very difficult pregnancy & postpartum (still at 9 months) experience. I’m so thankful I found Solis/Jenny!
Solis helped me gain strength and energy after my chemotherapy treatments. Jenny recommended vitamins and herbs as well as targeted Accupuncture and message that help with my recovery and allow me to sleep better.
I also received treatment after a broken arm and shoulder surgery. They are helping with mobility, scar reduction and pain relief. I notice an improvement each time I visit and feel the treatments are definitely worth my time and money.
I have consistently received excellent care at Solis Acupuncture. I was referred from my primary care doctor at Kaiser for ongoing pain from an injury, and acupuncturist Jessica Powell was able to knock it out after just a handful of visits. She is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and caring. I highly recommend her expertise to anyone.

I also found the entire Solid team to be professional and caring, and the facilities are clean and welcoming.
Amazing treatment, kind, and compassionate care from Julian, beautiful clean and welcoming clinic. Highly recommend
I’ve been suffering with chronic SI pain for several years. Since starting my treatment with Solis acupuncture a few months ago I’m finally getting relief from my pain!

Thank you so much Solis Acupuncture, your team is the best!!!
When I arrived, my lower back had locked up,with muscles in spasm. I could barely bend. When I left an hour later, I could touch my toes!
Solis acupuncture is a model of compassionate health care. And an inspiration for what excellent healthcare can be. From the whole experience of checking in with Summer to getting the treatments. I felt heard and seen in a way I had never been before. Jenny and Sarah are incredible practitioners! They excelled in searching for the root of my health issues, while also being present to the issues I was bringing in on that day. They had excellent questions to ask me and would follow up with what I told them in the past. They have given me a lot of insight into my health issues and have changed the way I think about health care providers.

I'd highly recommend them to anyone seeking acupuncture and holistic health care!
